So I have an appointment this afternoon for a consultation with the NC State Veterinary Teaching Hospital's ophthalmologists. If we decide to move forward, we'll leave Mia there overnight and they'll MRI her eye tomorrow.

Ok so the vet just called and the good news is the ultrasound showed no sign of any mass behind the eye. They're not totally sure why it's bulging and off to the side, but they said it's so slight they're not too concerned about it. They want to sit and do nothing but monitor it. We'll probably follow up again in a few months.
