If you don't want to read it here's the summary:
The 'Holes suck and Roy can't sleep thinking about how much they suck.
Smoke screen.

He just found out after petitioning the ncaa that mj, hanstravel and ty-one-on lawson have 1 more game of eligibility left and he's gonna use it tomorrow night. The letters D-U-K-E will appear in front of all their players about 907 PM and we will be in for the fight of our lives. They are desperate. This is their season. I don't want to be their building block for the remainder of the year. I want to hammer them. I want Jon, Kyle and Nolan to make 3s on them all night. I want to see the MPs to put on a dunk fest. I wanna see Lance tipping every shot away from their inside players. I wanna see Z swat a buncha shots into the nose bleed seats (reference intended). I wanna bury them tomorrow night. But make no mistake about it, we can play the same way we did against state and, if we do, it will be a very loonnnnggg evening and an even more miserable remainder of the week here in 'hole country.

I totally agree. I'm terrified, I confess. I think the boys will be ready, but I think carolina will put forth their best effort in weeks. It will be interesting.

I'm still waiting to hear if Zeller is going to play. Of course all we'll hear is how bad it looks and he'll be questionable right up to the time he's put in the starting line-up...

I'm not especially worried about him. I don't expect him to play, and he couldn't possibly be ready to jump right in and contribute a great deal under the circumstances anyway. The initial prognosis was for a 4- to 6-week recovery period, and we're right at the leading edge of that time window.
On top of all this, Zeller did not go to Maryland with the heels last weekend due to a bout with food poisoning.

Often times this means he'll play and have a career night against us.

According to ESPN tonight, turns out that Beaker IS walking through that door tonight, and having his jersey retired.

Psychology. Smoke screen.

Like it or not, Williams and Carolina simply have no answers.

Did anybody notice the holes all bouncing before the tip? I mean, emulation IS the sincerest form of flattery. I know other schools do it now, too, but I figured at least they'd have too much pride to follow the other lambs (to the slaughter ;) ).

North Carolina technically still has seven regular season games remaining plus the ACC tournament, but the loss to Duke dropped the Tar Heels to 2-7 in the ACC (13-11 overall), which means barring a miracle run in the ACC tournament the Tar Heels will not be playing in the NCAA tournament. The only thing they are playing for now is pride, but remember now, this is North Carolina. They don't hang banners around here for pride.
Since when??

The 54 points North Carolina scored Wednesday night was the team's lowest in Williams' seven years as head coach at his alma mater. Their 34.5 percent field goal shooting and eight assists were season lows. You can put that on the tombstone. Here lies 2009-10. Couldn't score. Couldn't defend. Didn't compete. Good riddance.

My favorite segment of Seth's piece is the final paragraph:
The Tar Heels will play these last seven games not because they have so much pride, but because they have no choice. But make no mistake: There are no signs of life in Chapel Hill. On a night when Tyler Hansbrough gave the North Carolina faithful one last taste of blue heaven, the Duke Blue Devils tossed the last pieces of dirt on the Tar Heels' season from hell.
Snap. :ymdevil:
