We're leaving right now. Plenty of food, plus Oz's bringing 'cue. Have the parking pass. So good to go, see y'all in a few. Also have a bottle of merlot, some beer and a bottle of reisling which is tasty. Don't have fancy glassware, but we'll live;) Chuck

And a nice time was had by all! About 5:15 we had an uninvited, but very welcome guest stop by! Mickie Krzyzewski! B-) B-) B-) She parked her car right next to Chucks, and when she got out she said "Wow! A tailgate! That's nice to see." We invited her to stay for some Q and beverages, but she was late getting to her grandkids, whom she was in charge of, so she rushed off after talking for a couple of minutes.

Nice to see Chuck (and family), Chris and Cathy (and Sam), August West, BDBD, the DD's and family, plus a couple of other invited guests. :D

Happy New Year to all! :ymparty:

That was fun tonight, folks. Short but fun. Wish we had another 30-45 minutes and about 10 degrees warmer on the thermometer.

I liked our new location.

It was very cool! She remembered Cathy immediately and hugged her and then I got to meet her and we shared some brief hometown memories as she is from the Dumfries, NoVA area! She is a wonderful lady and I told Cathy later how I thought it was soo cool that she was there supporting her hubby!!! :-bd

It was great seeing everyone again and meeting Chuck and his family and friends. What a way to end 2009 and start 2010! :-bd :-bd :-bd

Great to see and meet y'all. It was cool that Lady K remembers sitting with me back in '83(?) at the Stetson game down in Fla when we were at a tourney, Lakeland, possibly, and our coach had tix for us. IIRC, we barely won, back in the very early K days. Looking at Charlie Boards, I think it was '84 at Stetson and was a nine point win. My wife even commented on how young she looks and my wife should know. Very nice get-together, just way too short. We'll do it again. Thanks to all, we had fun, Chuck

P.S. This is a very good Duke team, IMO.

DD and I talked about this on the way home. And having seen Coach K up close and personal a couple of weeks ago, he looks just as young - not a day over 40, not a wrinkle in sight. We speculated on how much botox each of them has had ;)

She had no choice. She parked right next to us, Cathy spoke to her and gave her a hug and then we surrounded her and threatened her with budlite, Q and slaw...

Pictures are up from the game. I don't know why I didn't take any at the Brunchgate.

Sam had a great time. His Christmas wish was to go to a game in Cameron. Thanks to all of you who made it possible! (DD, Oz and 8-x )

Your album is a great reminder to all of us who live in the hood and get to frequent Cameron that we should never get jaded and take the privilege for granted. It's special, indeed. Sam saw a fun game for sure.....complete with a movie star even!!!! What a merry Christmas! Thanks for posting the pics, Cathy!
