Kelly and I are gearing up for the final holiday feasts! Tonight; paella with dry-aged Spanish chorizo, chicken, clams, shrimp and lobster tails (for garnish ;-)). Tomorrow we're doing dry-aged ribeyes (thanks for the inspiration Tim), fried mushroom cakes and some other little side. Friday I'm preparing a batch of chili that we're taking to the mountains; our friend is having her 30th Birthday Party and throwing a mini-cookoff at their cabin. And of course New Year's Day I'll be makin Hoppin John!
We're ending 2009 in style! We're staring 2010 with heartburn medication and new gym memberships.

Call any local seafood market, but if you can get them from a family run business you are better off...they probably fished the oysters themselves. Here at the beach, we actually have to call a few days in advance to reserve them, they don't harvest what they don't expect to sell.cl15876 wrote:I'm in greenville, NC... anyone know where I can get fresh oysters to roast/steam on the grill?
