The conference is at the Sheraton. I couldn't get a room there, so I booked at the Courtyard by Marriott a block away. My office mates have ocean view (north or south facing) rooms. I have an oceanfront room with a jacuzzi.

Sort of like Pineapple Upside Down cake. Am I the only one getting an upside down image? Thid is a common problem on these type of boards, particularly the automotive ones I visit.

Your name is now associated w/sporking OY, whether they be + or -, so retaliation is possible . There are a few folks over there with "flaming turds" instead of sporks under their names. Most of those folks get banned or don't bother coming back. I've flamed 3 people since the system started: 2 for flaming me for nonsense/minor stuff and one other UVa fan who was a complete and total asshole. I also reported him to Bob Green who went postal on him/her and assigned about 15 infraction points, which was associated with a temporary "on holiday" status. Another mod also went nuclear, assigning another crapton of infraction points and threw their carcASS in the ditch w/a lifetime ban, IIRC.
