We're at the NCSU College of Engineering graduation ceremony. Soninlaw Patrick is graduating Suma Cum Laude and senior class award (validictorian). The ceremony started 40 minutes late. Obviously run by a carolina student who didn't show up.

Glad Max is having such a positive experience. I always told my advises, and their parents, that it is normal to change majors once you start taking classes. Not a bad thing at all. I saw a few too many instances of parents forcing a premed major on their children, even if said child wanted to do something else. Sad.

In my undergrad days, we often referred to organic chemistry as 'pre-business.'

NCSU has become a great school over the last 25-30 years. "If you can't go to college, go to State" no longer applies.

Rachel already finished her Masters in Exercise and Sports Science. That was 2 B.C. (Before Crazietalk )

I'll talk about cheerleader daughter next year ;) .
