Thee driveshaft on the BUTT broke into two seperate swing pieces of heavy metal, while out in the street next to the Ford dealership in Danville, on Wednesday morning. Rather than paying the local guy to repair on the scene, (after he had already towed me onto the dealer's property and gotten authorization to repair, and then was halfway to the machine shop where the new driveshaft would be made and told to return and re-hookup and tow me back to Walkertown which risked fines because of being illegal to tow in excess of 50 miles) I now await it's repairs in the comfort of home. Not really comfort, as I need to spend the day collecting all the oak leaves that have now been relased by two giant trees that reside in my neighbor's front yard and have found themselves all blown over onto mine.

My company management, in their massive brilliance, decided to spend oodles of money that they claim not to have. They paid me delay time, the breakdown service that made the arrangements for the local roadside service folks to attend to me and the BUTT, the towing operator, whosoever our shop vends for the repair parts and the company mechanic to perform the installation. They also lose revenues, due to my inability to complete the delivery of the remainder of the load that was still to continue to Altavista and Lynchburg. They also lose my availability for more service while awaiting my assigned equipment until repairs are complete. They're geniuses.

I was in small claims court yesterday. Does that count as an inferior court?

Glad you're safe, but what does this do to your schedule for TOMORROW???? THAT is the important question! Will we see the great Capt. at the TBCC tailgate?

And on another note; Good morning! It's game day! ~O)

Good mornin'! Crackin' my coattails today! Groceries for family dinner to get in. Cooking to do. Cake to bake, presents to wrap. Table to set. Flowers to arrange. Game to see. And still those regular Saturday chores. It's the OP's 73rd birthday! :ymparty:

Maybe the Devils can surprise him with a win! Ya think? After all, Miles surprised him by hitting all those free throws last night! ANYthing could happen!
Love, Ima
