Woo hoo!!!! Congrats! Do you have good seats?YmoBeThere wrote:Found the confirmation notice in my Spam folder. I'm going to the game!YmoBeThere wrote:They charged my credit card but didn't say anything about the ticket yet...hmm, is that good or bad?
Still not 100% sure what I'm going to do. Today was my first full day of work this week, and I feel like I've been beaten. Given that fact, I think the Friday night games are not a good idea for me health-wise. Besides, I'm sure the other several thousand people there would appreciate not being exposed to whatever respiratory bug I'm fighting. Now, if we make it to the Sunday game, that's a whole other ball of wax. I'll just have to see how I feel on Saturday.

Not sure where the seat is, I figure it is high up in the Duke section. Similar to the football ticket I got for the Sun Bowl. I don't give to the Iron Dukes which likely impacts the location, but in just getting 1 ticket I figure I can fill in a space somewhere.

(that is applause for your decision...not the law)

Re: LTE 2.0
The state of Indiana passed and signed into law SB 101 that on its face sounds reasonable, no law or ordinance shall substantially burden a person's exercise of religion. In effect, they are providing cover for discrimination on religious grounds. A similar law was ultimately vetoed in AZ. Similar legislation is being considered in a dozen other states including Texas.bjornolf wrote:Okay, what the heck did I miss here?
Suffice it to say that I disagree with this effort.

Amen. My home state is even worse at the moment. We have some politicians that my family members think are wonderful, but I have pretty much the polar opposite opinion. Can't exactly boycott the state, though.DukePA wrote:Well done, sir!!!YmoBeThere wrote:The legislation signed into law last night.

Re: LTE 2.0
Very disappointed for those guys. Gave everyone the blueprint on how to beat Kentucky, though. Very proud of and happy for Mike Brey and his team, though. Great season all around. I loved his quote pre-game about how you couldn't ask for better prep to play Kentucky than going 4-1 against Duke and Carolina.
