It means he prefers to work with people who appreciate how 'special' he is

Windsor got it in one! As MacGyver is fond of saying, WEC is a legend in his own mind.

ND Head Coach, Mike Brey addressed on ESPN, that his 84 year old Mother, had a heart attack and passed away Saturday Morning, before the game. Bless his heart.
Prayers for the Brey Family. ND had a great game vs Butler!

Looks like there are good seats through the NCAA clearinghouse. Anyone have experience with going this route?

When we committed to a pup, we knew we'd not be going to any post season BB! Much as we love this little bundle of energy, it may not have been the best choice we've ever made in life! Houston daughter already has tix - 4 of them! Guess she thought we'd give in a bring the pup with! Not this year! But we cheer pretty damned loud from our living room!

AD,
Did you get the Regional events e-mail? I got it last night and registered. We'll see if I get a set of tickets.

I did not receive that email. Vibes that you get tickets!
Still not sure what I'm going to do. The respiratory bug that kept me on the couch for most of the weekend is still wreaking havoc. I only stayed at work for half the day yesterday. Still haven't decided if I'm going in today.

MacGyver's meeting with The Boss got moved up to yesterday. He asked to pay 60% of my salary; The Boss balked at that and countered with 40%. The Boss wants me to meet with him to discuss all of this, and I also need to meet with MacGyver to outline a plan. I hope this means that I get to kick Road Runner to the curb, but I don't know. The Boss may still be trying to get me to work with WEC, at which point I may need to give him the many reasons why this would be a disaster. If I have to choose between WEC and Road Runner, I think I'd have to hold my nose and go with Road Runner.

Ahh, so by suggesting 40% The Boss is trying to maintain some sort of control?

I would continue to point out that while you are willing to work with RR her time to salary ratio is way off and now that MacGyver is paying 40/60 of your salary he will understandably want that much of your TIME.

I hadn't thought of that, but I suspect this is the case. Good call!

An excellent idea. This dynamic is going to be tricky, given her known issues with MacGyver. She'll either cut me off completely or will try to bury me under so much work that I don't have time for MacGyver. If the latter occurs, I'll simply sic The Boss on her. She might also try complaining to The Boss. Good luck with that.
