Very very happy for you to have found work you want to do with people who do appear to bat shit crazy. Perhaps we should call the new collaborator 'LifeBoat'. lol.
RR will become much more dangerous, as desperate people do desperate things. If she sees the no funding handwriting on the wall she could get really ugly (or if she has a functioning brain cell left, map her own face saving exit strategy)

The MacG/RR thing is an exercise in why you do NOT date people you work with.

So where will this leave BarMinion? Is she tied to the deck of RR's sinking ship?
What a roller coaster ride, AD. Glad you've taken the high road in all this foolishness. The name that came to my mind was "Voice of Reason", but Lifeboat seems to work well enough. Plenty of metaphors there - sinking ship, etc.

And I endorse Windsor's wisdom yet again. The saying I learned is "never get your honey in the same place you get your money."
(although sometimes I've seen the twentysomethings in big firms where a large number of college grads come in every year can make it work, those are the exceptions that prove the rule...)

AD - so glad things are looking up, and karma is one of those things that I always know is coming sooner or later; I just hope for front row seats!

That was about the only part of that game I enjoyed. He snagged the onside kick too, right?

Man, this place is dead.

Where is everyone? Watching baseball? The NC senate debate? I've been in court all day and need some diversion. :(( :9f:
