Coolness! I must say, your acrylics are energizing! Lots of positive movement in them. Well done, bro!CameronBornAndBred wrote:16 X 20 Acrylic

All these faces grouped would make an interesting wall. What are you doing with them all?

Re: Latest work(s)
I have a solo show in September at the Bank of the Arts Gallery in New Bern. The gallery is closing this week for a few months while they undergo some major renovations. My show will be the first one in the renovated gallery, and will have all these portraits/figure paintings as well as some of my landscapes.Ima Facultiwyfe wrote:All these faces grouped would make an interesting wall. Colleen is a girl? I thought Colleen was a Colin. Those strong features (long nose, muscular lower lip, large lower eyelids and the high forehead) looked masculine to me.

Nope she is a 51 year old woman. She does indeed have masculine figures, but I can assure you after taking over 100 nude photos that she is female.CathyCA wrote:Colleen is a girl? Just shows you what I know about gender. Despite the long hair, I assumed she was male.CameronBornAndBred wrote:Nope she is a 51 year old woman. Re: Latest work(s)
CB's painting style is that of many hard edges. He doesn't "lose" edges very often. I think that makes for a very masculine technique. That could account for your assumption, CA. I look forward to pics of your show when it's hung, CB. I do hope you can find a way to hang all those faces together in one space. I think that would be powerful.
