Blech always kills me.

One thing that I am realizing is that the C list cabal of Menard and Ragan is going to cause LOTS of problems down the road, so whenever you get a chance to diversify, you take advantage, no matter the cost.

It's also apparent to me now that because I have used up my Blech quota early, I can now choose only A listers Harvick, JJ, and Edwards for the remainder of the year ... well, if I choose Smoke for the road races, and if I freak out on Biffle and JG once or twice.

WHAT is going on with Hamlin? He's having a BADDDD year so far.

Yeah, the C list picks aren't great this year are they? Definitely going to cause trouble but at least we'll all be in the same boat (at least I expect we will).

A little over halfway through it, It's all Blech and Jeff Gordon (JG). Hamlin racing well in 3rd, followed quickly by Bowyerand Kahne.
Blech has a full second lead.

JPM got into a couple of taps with Newman. Newman's in ninth, but JPM is like 33rd, 2 laps down.

Ugh...

And Menard is not doing well either.

Otherwise, no major wrecks.

Caution
Lap 244 of 400.
JPM tapped Newman, and Newman went into the wall. Boys, have at it!!
CLEARLY retribution for the Newman tap of JPM at Lap 108.
Hamlin has the lead (gained the lead in the pits).

On the restart, Hamlin spun his tires, forcing Blech to cross the start line BEFORE Hamlin. To avoid a penalty, Blech let 5 or 6 cars go ahead of him.
Truex took the lead.

CAUTION: 98 laps to go.
Gordon spins and crashes into bunches, including Kenseth and Menard. Bowyer got sandwiched, but somehow he survived relatively unscathed. MM and Reutimann touched each other as well. Labonte and JamieMac got a little hit as well.

55 laps to go
So Blech has gotten back to the front, 1.55 seconds in front of Hamlin.

Since so many of us chose Menard, many of us are stuck with a 35th place. The David Ragan and Regan Smith selections were nicely done this week.

Gas mileage issues are playing a big role in the last 10 laps. Hamlin, Kahne, and Blech have been told to save fuel.

All hail King Marvin, who laid a big can of whoop-ass on everyone. He won with 346 points. The next closest was me, some 70 points below.

In the overall points lead, Marvin leads the next closest competitor, Ymo, by about 100 points, with me another 100 points behind that. Usul is about 20 points behind me, and then another 80 points further back is colchar, closely followed by Tilly, Robert, and mph. Miles appears not to be entering any picks. Would love to see Miles back in the league!

I fell asleep before the race started(I know very early) while watching State of Play. I only saw a few seconds of the race while trying to find a more comfortable spot on the couch.
