You left assistant behind at 3000. You get promoted to full professor at 4000 I think. So, you need <700. Say, maybe by the end of this month ;;) ?

I'm working on mine right now, if I get a refund I'll file as soon as possible. Otherwise, I'll wait until April.

With the caveat being, since the time value of money is minimal right now, I'll probably file earlier in the second scenario just to get it done.

We're getting most of ours tax forms/info lined up now, as we have the college financial aid forms (including our income tax forms for 2013) due Feb. 3.

Property managers should have emergency numbers. The unit across the street is empty again. I happened to meet the property manager the day I flew up to MN so i have his card. When I got home at midnight tonight, I heard water running. Sure enough, there is another broken pipe in the unit and water is flowing out from above the garage. Yes - I heard it across the street so it is not a little trickle. Tomorrow, the street may be mostly ice at this rate. All I can do is leave a message and I sent a text to the number I had for the owner. Not sure if it is still the same owner or not.

I tried.

Vamonos, Vanderbilt!

When I first moved to western VA, I rented a house with a gigantic satellite dish and discovered that the video on a lot of channels (including ESPN) was available but without the audio. Mexican TV had both, and I had an NBC feed. I discovered "Touchdown Raiders" was the same in English and Spanish.

I had to watch the Vandy football game while our game was on CBS. During my viewing absence, the 'dores went from being up 24-0. I checked the score again(well, I went outside to water trees and do other yard work) and it was 24-24. Vandy quickly scored 17 points and after that I could watch Duke basketball. (P.S. This team has a lot of opportunity)

Our sweet kitty girl, Abby, crossed the Rainbow Bridge yesterday.

We lost her brother, Jack, just before Christmas last year. It's the first time in almost 12 years we don't have an animal in the house, but they are together again.

Sheree,

So, so, sorry on the passing of your Abby. It is good to know that she was loved.
