Very true - you lose your loved one twice. Remember, if the choice is laugh or cry, laughing is acceptable. Keeping you and your family in my prayers.ArkieDukie wrote:Alzheimer's sucks. That is all.
It certainly does. My heart is with you and your family.ArkieDukie wrote:Alzheimer's sucks. That is all.

That sucksCathyCA wrote:I just spent an hour working on a motion for entry of default and default judgment in a rather complex case. Then, the fax machine beeped, and I got a response to my client's crossclaim.
I am seriously bummed that I cannot default these defendants. I am also ticked off that I cannot get back that hour of my life.
Technically, I am just outside the northern San Antonio city limits along Rt 281. Moved here from VA about a month ago. Planning on building a house in Spring Branch, TX, which will put me about 35 miles north of downtown SA.ArkieDukie wrote:Where are you located, DukeForester? Influenza I think, had the vaccine but maybe I got a different strain. Haven't had issues yet with the cedar that I know of, but everyone that has moved here says you get a pass the first year(last year for me) and that it'll catch up to you in the second.DukeForester wrote:Allergies YMO? My sympathies, I went through this with 2 of 4 grandparents. There will be great moments interspersed in there, those are the ones to hold on to.ArkieDukie wrote:Alzheimer's sucks. That is all.

TY Ymo. My wife & I got our flu vaccinations back in VA before we left. Here's hoping that there is not a different TX strain that was not in the VA vaccine, because the flu really sucks. Both my children, spouses and grandson (reason for relocating here) live near Sea World off 151. Glad to hear about the 1st year pass on mtn cedar. Both my kids suffer and said that we will also. I'll tell them about the 1st year pass.YmoBeThere wrote:Influenza I think, had the vaccine but maybe I got a different strain. Welcome to the area! I'm just outside the 1604 between Culebra and Potranco. Not far from Sea World.
Prayers and vibes for all of you, AD.ArkieDukie wrote:Alzheimer's sucks. That is all.
