The ocean breezes are blowing, and the ocean temperature is 80 degrees.
I swam with the dolphins yesterday. They came in very close to the beach and were swimming all around us.
That is very cool! I'd love to swim with dolphins.
I also want to kayak with manatees.
Life is good!

See any sharks? (no attorney reference intended
)
DD, we don't swim with the sharks, we stand on their backs and they carry us. It's called professional courtesy. ;)

Just back from court. Our judge said it was so hot that a butane lighter he left in the console of his Mazda exploded and he found shards of plastic all over the interior when he went out at lunchtime.

There are only two kinds of people that swim with Sharks...
the good ones...
and the chunky ones in a red haze. ;)
I was in Greenville SC yesterday, where at 1:00pm it was 95 but the humidity was quite low and the temperature very tolerable. It felt twice worse in Winston-Salem at 9:30am.
Today, Southern Pines was a very hazy 102 at 1:00pm.
Glad to be home in A/C.

A severe thunderstorm warning, some rumbles and a brief shower, enough to wet the ground. Maybe. Wonder if my grass will turn green tomorrow? Sort of doubt it.

It's thundering now. I had to clear the pool. We now have a house full of kids.
Thank goodness for

We're hearing thunder this morning. I am not too excited about spending the last day at the beach in a house full of kids.
