Well now that game was a disappointment! Starting with no cheerleaders, a very thrown together Pep Band, a much too quiet Duke crowd and a bunch of new NCAA rules that neither the refs or the players can keep straight - so much that the refs missed a ton of other simple things like traveling and the games lasted forever! Bad outcome. And now you know how I really feel! Fortunately it is not March and we have time to adapt to the new rules before we play Kansas again in the tournament and BEAT THE HELL OUT OF THEM!

Best part was I got to meet DinK in person!

Well we made it through Louisville during rush hour driving our car with Duke stickers & license plate holder without getting the finger, side swiped or stopped and even survived the UK crowd in Lexington wearing Duke garb! We are now in Vol country - I don't think they hate us so should be safe for the night! Moving further eastward tomorrow! See y'all soon!

Side trip today to Roanoke VA to see visit with my 89 y/o uncle! Great time and so good to see him! Heading back to Blue Devil land in the morning! Meanwhile this Granny is pooped! Too much fun I think and more to come! Night all!
