My older sister just learned that her city's drinking water is contaminated with radon. She purchased bottled water to drink.

Proud aunt moment: my 16 yr old nephew was selected to play with the Missouri Ambassadors of Music this summer. He gets to travel around Europe with a bunch of fellow band geeks. How cool is that?! (He made a 1 at state and was in the 4-State Honor Band, which explains how he was selected.)

Having worked all alone in a remote rain forest, HELL YES it makes a sound!
If you were in the rain forest, that means there was someone to hear the tree fall. :D
What if the tree were accidentally cut down by lasers? #-o :twitch:

We've had water purification problems 'round these parts for a time. I'm reluctant to bathe...does it show? (smell) :twitch:

Where does she live? If it's in humid, southern climes, I have a long term (drinking water) solution for her.

Rain is approaching St. Augustine and play is suspended at the golf tourney. Duke's Kevin Streelman is tied for 12th so far. :9f:

It isn't raining here and I'm the only one online here. The water has been okay from what I can tell.

The rain stopped around 3:00 pm yesterday. The reunion as very good, as usual. We stayed on base in the hotel Driving was not necessary. We say friends we had not seen since 1967. We have kept up up with them. We didn't know they were coming and they didn't know we were coming. It was great seeing them. I'll be glad to get home and see Harley. :ymhug: :O3

My cousin sells Vera Bradley, and her store is forever having specials. They ship for free anywhere in the US (or maybe that's my "you're my favorite cousin" discount).

I ordered a purse in a fall color (from their 50% off sale) and had it shipped to Tacoma to Rev. Lawgrad's mother as a Mother's Day present. On his way home from church, he called his Mom to find out what she thought of the purse. Well, Sister Amy told her it was a fancy, high dollar purse, and she has decided it's too nice to use, so it's now in a place of honor on the mantel.

So, should I tell her it's not a Coach bag, and it's ok for her to use it?

Correction: ArkieNephew doesn't head for Europe until next summer. He has a year to raise the money for the trip. :happy-bouncyblue: :happy-bouncyblue: :9f:
