No, it's not my birthday. They had an email promotion. Everybody could get a free breakfast entre' if you were on their mailing list and you responded to the promotion. I got a chicken, egg and cheese bagel sandwich!

I spent a lot of time yesterday dealing with a bioinformatics problem and had a plan worked out with one of the companies we work with. My boss called them after I left yesterday and worked out a new plan with them. He told me via email. I get to start from scratch this morning, and I don't know all of the details of their plan.

Hopefully one of those job apps will pan out soon.
