Ugallery chose a painting that I just added for their featured work in an email they sent out.
It's funny since that painting is three years old.

Days like today could drive me to drink. Wile E. Coyote offered to show me how to use an instrument that I've been using for the past 9 months. He also told me that a part replaced during the service visit last summer was fine and did not need to be replaced. The part had a visible crack in it when it was removed from the instrument. WEC was not here for the service visit and has no clue what he's talking about. Dude is seriously too stupid to function.

In my current FB status, I basically ask if others crave steak after dealing with particularly annoying people. A friend guessed where I was going with it; she commented that it was my inner predator coming out.

What do you call it when you have short rest periods before hors d'oeuvres?

Hooray! The new DirectTv box showed up on the doorstep! The smart member of the family (and the humble one to boot) has it up and running and the remote tethered to the TV for good measure!

Message to those that smoke: Please be sure your cigarette butt is out before you flick it into the dumpster. Evacuating a 15 story building because you caused a dumpster fire is not very considerate. At least it was nice out today. And at least 3 floors are empty. However, it was not the speediest descent in the world. Someone would stop to catch their breath (smoke in the stairs) and block the way. Then, someone mentioned that another person was texting as they descended the stairs. I think that is as bad as texting while driving.

I was hoping Wake ladies would beat maryland.
