GORDON WINS!!
JG, Kes, JJ, Logano, Kenseth, Larson, Truex, Newman, Bowyer, Blech
11 Edwards
12 Hamlin (-1 lap)
13 Harvick (-1 lap)
22 JMac (-2 laps)
23 Dinger (-2 laps)
25 Patrick (-2 laps)
35 Cassill (-9 laps)

I believe that Iowa Devil STOMPED this week, but LG may gotten the win!
I think I may have gained two points on Miles, and Ymo may have gained a few on me, but IOWA is making a move!

It appears that LG won this week by like 4 points over Iowa, but Iowa has moved up the season-long standings.
I lost 4 points to Miles, but Miles is now down to 1 more time to choose JJ and Gordon.
Next week... KANSAS!!

I have been way busy the last few weeks, and have checked to see that colchar won last night's race in NASCAR Fantasy League. I, on the other hand, have figured out how to have the low score 3 of the last 4 weekends. It's easy to do... just pick a slumping Jimmie Johnson. And THAT is how you go from first to fourth!!

Meanwhile, Miles holds a lead over Iowa and Ymo... HOWEVER, Miles has lost his allocations for A-listers JJ and JG; B-listers Newman, Hamlin, Kes, Logano, and Edwards; and C-listers Larson, Dillon, and Patrick. Iowa is out of picks on Larson and Kes. Ymo is out of picks on Logano, Newman, Larson, and Dillon. It's a war of attrition, folks!!

And next week, the magic roulette wheel, known as DEGA!!

I didn't see the race but turned it on just as half the drivers were attacking Kes! Brawl type event afterwards. Looks like he might have been a "naughty boy" during the race! :-o

Without turning this into "As the Bunsen Burns," here's what happened:
1) Kes was trading paint with Kenseth and Hamlin all night long, but especially in the last two laps.
2) In the cool-down lap, Kes and Hamlin were exchanging words in their cars. Eventually, both stopped, and Kes hit Hamlin's car, then moved on.
3) Meanwhile, Kes was careful towards the pit road, to bump Kenseth, who apparently had already taken off his HANS device. In doing so, Kes...
4) tapped Smoke. Smoke promptly put his car in reverse and slammed Kes in the hood. That was the worst of the damage with all of this. Kes got it but good!
5) allegedly, Kes did doughnuts in the garage area, sending parts in different directions.
6) Hamlin got out of his car, and started to chase after Kes on foot. NASCAR officials restrained him eventually.
7) Just when then that died down, Kes walked away between the haulers, when ...
8) MATT "WHITE BREAD" KENSETH ran and jumped on Kes, and a brawl ensued, also involving crew members. NASCAR officials broke it up pretty quickly, but still, MATT KENSETH went after Kes!
9) Jr was quoted afterwards as saying it looked like an episode of COPS. :)) =)) Gordon also was amused by the situation.
10) Meanwhile, Lavabe was throwing things at any image he could find of Jimmie Johnson. JJ has single-handedly ruined me in Fantasy League.

NOTE: It is now quite conceivable that Jimmie Johnson, Jr, and Kes may all NOT make it to the next round of the Chase.

HOLY HELL!!
The following folks DID NOT QUALIFY for tomorrow's race at DEGA...

JEFF GORDON
Ricky Stenhouse Jr
Justin Allgaier
Kyle Larson

WTF?!?!?!?!?!

I'm just looking at the "DNQ" next to the names on the Group Picks tab.
More details to follow. I hope this is not true. If it is, WOW!!

So, here's what has happened at DEGA qualifying:
1) The Yahoo site will probably get updated. Gordon IS starting... in 42nd place.
2) Three drivers are not starting: Stenhouse, Allgaier, Sorenson.
3) Vickers grabbed the pole.
WEIRD!!

CORRECTION: Sorenson IS racing at DEGA... Joe Nemechek failed inspection, which bumped Sorenson back into the race.
Oh yeah... Larson is most definitely racing.

Kes wins the magic roulette wheel known as Talladega!
No BIG ONE this year, but still, one F'd up race, from qualifying through to the finish.
No JJ, No Jr, No Kahne, and No Blech in the next round of the Chase.

As far as Fantasy, LAWGRAD put a can of whoopass on everyone. I think she won by eleventy billion points today. Congrats to LG!

That now means the yearlong standings are:
Miles leads Ymo by 88 points.
Ymo leads Iowa by 53 points.
Iowa leads Lavabe by 61 points.
Lavabe leads Lawgrad by 97 points.
Lawgrad leads colchar by 118 points.

Martinsville next week!!

Newsflash: Newman's car failed postrace inspection.
Decision today as to whether he gets deducted enough points to remove him from the Chase. If he gets removed, Kahne will advance.

They're racing in Lawgrad territory today!
The big news today: JJ and Harvick had severe damage and have not been factors at all today.
JG, Hamlin, Logano have been racing well.
Kes just broke a transmission.
They are just now out of a red flag for cleaning up the damage from the accident caused by Kes. Danica got caught in the damage, along with Mears. Kahne is out of the race. Vickers has had issues with Kahne today.
About 50 laps to go: Hamlin's car steering is failing him.
About 45 laps to go:
Jr, Bowyer, JG, Logano, Smoke, Hamlin, Blech, Dinger, Newman, Kenseth
12 JMac (Led once)
13 Larson
15 Biff
16 Dillon
19 Allgaier (Led once)
28 Danica (off)
29 Vickers
36 JJ
37 Harvick

About 10 laps to go: CAUTION
Larson spun and hits the wall as Ambrose spins with him.
RED FLAG to clean up all the debris. Larson is leaking a LOT of fluid.
10 laps to go.
