135-134 Laps to go: green flag pitting.

At what point does colchar say: I knew I should have chosen my bench driver in the A list?
Kenseth is KILLING this race. Only 19 cars in the lead lap. He has an 8 sec lead.

40 Laps to go: Green flag pitting beginning. They can finish the race without another pit stop.

Looks like knights will overtake me and assume the lead.

Not this week. All of my starters finished ahead of the bench drivers for a change.

I think I won this week but it still isn't enough to move me any further up the group standings.

It looks like our resident Lemur lover still has the overall lead by a couple of points.

Congrats to colchar for winning this week. AMAZING that he didn't find SOME reason to complain about his bench selection. ;)

I still don't see how King Marvin didn't grab the #1 spot. For that matter, I don't see how Ymo didn't pass me.

Now for the bad news: next week, it's 'DEGA!!

Get out your lucky roulette wheel folks. The only troubles will be figuring out:
1) which C listers are going to be start & parkers;
2) which C listers will be qualifying;
3) predicting who will not be caught up in the BIG ONE.

Special thanks to Marvin and Tilly for coming over to watch the race. It was a lot of fun watching the race with folks. Thanks to devildeac for hosting this CTN NASCAR event.

Guess I'm going to have to be proactive, not reactive before the next race. :D

My choice of Mark Martin cost me big time, should have gone with Junior. But with that said, the Lemur lover is within sight now. CTN NASCAR event in NC? I was in NC Saturday...Charlotte however at the Charlotte Auto Fair hosted at Lowe's Motor Speedway. Even though it wasn't very sunny, I got sunburnt on the back of my neck. Yes, I have a redneck at this point.

If you do not have a roulette wheel I find that throwing darts at a board and using the results to make your picks is as solid a method as any other when they are racing at 'Dega.

'DEGA DAY!!

Marvin holds a one-point lead right now, the result of picking two Hendrick cars. In case you didn't see it, Hendrick starts the race today with the top four starting positions (JG, JJ, MM, and Jr).

It's the giant roulette wheel today. How many cars will survive the race? Yesterday's Nationwide race at 'dega ended with two green-white-checkered finishes. On the last lap, another accident occurred (on the TV I saw like four in the last 50 laps), so Blech won, thanks to his drafting partner, JOEY FREAKIN' LOGANO.

My picks are not starting well today, not well at all. Thankfully, this is 'Dega so surviving crashes means far more than starting position!

What's the over/under on how many laps get completed before the first big one happens?
