Which characters? The link ended up at a slideshow which showed a bunch of kids with toy guns. If so, I know none of those children.

The caption is incorrect. That's a red-bellied lemur (not a red-fronted lemur) on the left. #-o

Clearly the captioners of those photos are amateurs, as the first photo clearly depicts Luigi, not Mario.

Are there no marketable NFL stars besides Drew Brees and Clay Matthews Jr.?

Granted, as a Saints fan who likes to look at Clay Matthews, I'm not really complaining, but I am curious. :9f:

Melinda and I went Spindel Top Muesum today. It"s a couple of miles from her house, Nederlan, Tx. It was the first oil well in Texas and the biggest in the world. The museun is small but very informiitainformative. Gads, why don't I have spellcheck on this site? I don't do math or spelling. I hope you all still love me. :ymhug: I wanted to take pics but the sun didn't cooperate. Tomorrow is a do nothing much day. Tuesday, we leave for Austin.I love Austin. I am going to look for red cowboy boots, unless I find some Duke Blue ones. Wish me luck. I am flying home Thursday. I do miss my Harley. I miss Bud too. :D

Umm... I was just told that the World Series ended last night. Is that true? Who won? Did anyone watch?
8-|
Oh yeah, I can check it out on the internet...
:-B
Still, it's strange, but I don't recall seeing a single pitch in this World Series, even on highlights. I must not have checked out ESPN at the right hour. :twitch:

As I posted in the good night thread, Cabrera took a called third strike to end the WS. I know you're kidding, but in case anyone else didn't know, Giants won 4-3 in 10 innings.

Ball game over. World Series over. Season over. Giants win.

During the World Series last night, the commercials were: Clay Matthews for Zaxby's, Clay Matthews (turning something upside down), Clay Matthews for Verizon, and one Drew Brees selling Pepsi's. Clay Matthews was almost as pervasive as those running for political office. :9f:

I guess the NFL takeover of ads on the closing night of the World Series says something about the state of baseball.

But seriously, no Aaron Rodgers?

Admittedly, I no longer follow NFL, but is there any other big name on the Saints, besides Brees?

I no longer follow MLB and NFL... and I never really followed NBA all that closely. And the NHL is closed for labor issues. And NASCAR is almost done. HELLO ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE!! :-BD :-BD

Jimmy Graham is about the only other player worth watching on the Saints. Their defense is awful, and mostly known for Jonathan Vilma (only playing pending his appeal; I guess he gets an extra week thanks to Hurricane Sandy). The punter has nice hair and does some stuff for Locks of Love.

I think State Farm played the Kerry Wood/Andre Dawson ivy double check commercial. I saw the Aaron Rodgers in the classroom ad yesterday, but think it was during the Giants-Cowboys.

As to your other point, did you see where Robert Di Matteo and Sir Alex had to be separated on Sunday?
