In fact, a certain vertically imposing, lemur-studying crazietalker has taken me to task a time or seven for "duding" him.

Maybe it's the way I say dude. I don't say it in the proper southern way, I say it in the proper southern CALIFORNIA way. ;) Maybe it just started being real popular in Cali.

G.I. Joe

My grandfather called everybody "Joe", especially if he couldn't remember their name. He was born in 1905 and grew up in Montana. Anyway, it's part of the reason my parents named me that.

Hey everyone. Thought I'd drop in and say hi. It's late here so I'll be brief.

Two days in London seeing sights. Two days at the Univ. of Surrey in class. Lots of beer, bangers, mash, fish and chips, english breakfast, and shepherd's pie under the belt. Plenty of walking to work it off. Meeting some real nice people from UK, India, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, South Africa, Greece and France. Three more days of class here, a day seeing the English countryside on Saturday, the back home on Sunday.

It rains here pretty much randomly every day.

Glad to hear your having a good trip, outta start your own thread. I did the UK when I was about 12 or so with my family; a vacation I'll never forget.
