I'm glad I didn't take my 75 y.o. mom to see Bruno.

Bruno was a lot like Borat, but not as funny.

Now I'm wondering whether any of the movie was spontaneous. It seemed to be scripted.

I need to go to bed. I've got to be in court at 8:30 tomorrow morning.

And here at the hotel, I don't have anywhere near 57 channels, much less any more than that.

I walked by Starbucks on the way to dinner tonight. There was a woman sitting at an outside table, eating Cup O' Noodles. I wonder if they charged her for the hot water.

I'm watching Sex and the City, The Movie.

It's pretty funny, and holding my attention. The latter part is more than I can say for The International, starring Clive Owen, which preceded this one.

I'm not sure there are any other movies I want to go see this summer, I've already seen Angels and Demons and The Hangover.

Harry Potter is the one I'm waiting for. I'm not heard of any others that have me interested.

It's one of my favorites too! Clancy's Jack Ryan books are the only ones I look for when I hear a new one has come out, which hasn't happened in the last 5+ years (the last one was short, and obviously written as a two parter, but part 2 never came out).

Last night, just before "lights out", I found HFRO was on TNT - it was the meeting scene with the SecNav and all the generals/admirals, where Jack first figures out that Ramius might be wanting to defect, "Sonofabitch!" probably my favorite scene in the movie. Watched that, and then turned the TV off. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

I was gone for the last 6-7 days. How many pages do I need to read on this thread to catch up, or can I just skip it? ;)

For SHAME! Aren't you our fearless leader, Father, if you will, of our little family? To skip is one thing, but to ADMIT that you skip is sacrilege. The entire infrastructure of our utopia could collapse. Colchar is choking on his labatt as we speak. Lavabe is readying his lasers. Tilly's shark fin is on the prowl. Sue's apartment could burn down again. Wilson's research could be irreparably lost. Cathy and 8-x could hit a rough patch. Your paint could dry up. How could you man? Get a hold of yourself and take control again! We're looking at anarchy here! Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling! Forty years of darkness! Volcanoes, Earthquakes! The dead rising from the grave! Human Sacrifice, dogs and cats, living together! Mass hysteria! ;)
