I always look forward to the Super Bowl Commercials. I just found out niece Michelle will be in the Bridgestone commercial. She even takes on Vitale: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... viuTPpSfg8

When do we get to see your painting?

:9f:
Hopefully tonight..working on it when I get home before I pass out at 8:30. ~O)
Well so much for that. I got home, we ate a pizza and took our walk, then I loaded up my grill on my trailer to head to TNT's house for the weekend. After all that, it was bedtime for Bonzo, so I'll finish painting Sunday.

The boss has been hounding me about a particular task all week. As it turns out, this task is related to preliminary data that NuBarbie needs for an abstract (she will be presenting the work at the biggest professional meeting in my field, the meeting I don't get to attend). Did PHB actually tell me this, straight up? No, I found out when I was copied on an e-mail to someone else. X( X( X(

Still waiting for that formal job offer so I can cue up "Take This Job and Shove It."

I've been much busier than a one-legged man in a kick fight for the past few days. This is an epic tale I feel I must relate and share, but because of taking so much of my time in reaching the conclusion, it will take a lot of words to tell. This also could be a topic that others can relate to and may wish to offer similar stories. It has been so time consuming that I completely missed out on a lot going down here.

For example,
Are there any Tribbles native to Madagascar? :-?
Win or lose, Maryland still sucks.
Arkie looks to be soon headed for Texas.
The OP is in recovery.
Native is in a TV ad. Also, young Ms Beadle.
Another BBQ contest. Good luck guys!
I've never really cared for celebrity award shows. Like they really need to toot their own horns. 8-|
Donuts that play mini golf....okay. Not looking for narcs, are we? :D
Buzz should keep his feelers and hands to himself.

There's been a lot to catch up on. Right now, I've gotta get out of the house. I think I'll go yard sailing. Maybe I'll find a hidden treasure. Maybe not.

Went out and did a bit of shopping today after the game. i bought a shutter release cable for my camera and then went to Barnes & Noble to use a gift card that I received for Christmas. Went by the sports section, just to see what was there, and found a copy of "The Last Great Game." Guess what I used my gift card for. :happy-bouncyblue: :happy-bouncyblue: :happy-bouncyblue:

I lrft work at 3:30 today so I could watch the recording of the game and have enough time to get ready for a dinner party I was giving. Best way to have 10 for dinner ever - do it at someone else's house, they cook, they serve, they clean up! Best Auction purchase ever.

Even better - they will probably put the dinner in the in the mission trip auction again this year - there is now a larger pool of bidders!

There is a thread OY about some of the first names of players at St. Johns, including God'sGift and SirDominick.

Our own Cell-R posted this about our Native!
Native, a regular poster on this board, dressed as Jesus and held a sign saying "No, I'M God's gift!"

I think it was easily the best sign/costume combo I've seen in Cameron since I've been here.
BTW, Cell-R only has 1 Zpork. You guys know what to do! B-)

FANTASTIC Australian Open Men's Championship. Djokovic beats Nadal in 5 sets... nearly six hours long. Hard to imagine better tennis this year.

Apparently the longest men's grand slam final in the open era.

WOW!!

Here's a brain teaser for you. I expect everyone here will be able to read this pretty quickly. It's not a joke, so I'm putting it in the LTE instead of the joke thread.

Brain Study....

Wow! It took me a few seconds, but then I got the hang of it...I've seen this with the letters out of order, but this is the first time I've seen it with numbers.
