Edwards was my guess, too.

Why would Jay Bilas be in Pitt County?

This was a very good guess, however.

I would have guessed John Edwards.... but he has a Federal Case in Gboro.
Jay Bilas was Duke Law. He is traveling all over with ESPN.
Nifong........ where is he these days? He graduated from Unc and spent his entire career in Durham. He should be doing extended community service.

No, that's his name. He posted on Cathy's FB page how nice it was seeing her yesterday in court. ;)
Do lawyers ever say how nice it was suing you in court?

Um, hello? He's Johnboy!
And, yes, I saw him in court yesterday. He and I both had motions in Pitt County Superior Court. When I came back after lunch to bring my order to Judge Duke, John was next in line to argue his motion, so after I got my order signed and entered, I hung around to hear John's oral argument.

Yes.
I recently wrapped up a long case (which I won), and the attorney on the other side called my senior partner to tell him that I did a good job.

I got insulted by a lawyer on a blog. Well, not really insulted, but mystified by my actions.

I didn't know Johnboy is a fellow member of the bar! (and Judge Duke? Really?) Neat.
