Anyone want to talk about cars? In particular, mid-60's to early 70's muscle cars?

I'm sensing I'm the only one posting at the moment.

I think I need to trade out the Green Jacket. I haven't been doing a very good job.

Is anyone watching the baseball playoffs? The teams are all located in the center of the country. The proverbial flyover part of the country.

I got my iPod hooked up so it will play through the AM radio of my Firebird. Now, of course, the AM radio has been retrofitted with FM Stereo electronics. So, all in all I doesn't sound bad.

I did feel obliged to play Guns and Roses' Sweet Child of Mine at higher than politely acceptable levels. Any other song suggestions?

I didn't feel it the right car to play my NPR podcasts in. CarTalk with Tom and Ray just doesn't feel very cool when you are driving with the windows down and the motor revving.

I used to have a very convenient macro programmed that grabbed all the stock quotes I needed from Yahoo! Finance and dumped them into a spreadsheet. They are making it harder and harder to do that.

Can you switch to wolfram alpha, or another search engine?

Does it have to be old school? Can't really help you there, except maybe suggest some doors or hendrix. "People are strange" would be a good one.

More modern, I'm diggin My Chemical Romance, and Florence + the Machines these days. Incubus, and Killers have some good, hard-rockin songs as well.

Not watching (not really a baseball fan), but I hear that the local team and their mascot, the Rally Squirrel, are doing well.
Most people say that is it is the intellect which makes a great scientist. They are wrong: it is character.

Purge. Or have a marathon viewing session, then purge. Particularly the movies - become friends with Amazon Prime or Netflix instead.

20, right? I do like that over yonder, you can change how many are on a page - I typically go with 40.

Ooh, this post will give me a nice total number. I think I'll stop here for now, and go check on FutureDA. She kindly slept through the night again. :ymhug: :happy-bouncyblue:
