Good morning. We lost power yesterday morning about 10:30 due to the ice storm. We watched the game at a friends house elsewhere in Greensboro where they had power, and actually spent the night there. Still there. Duke Energy says our power will be restored by 11:45 pm tonight. We’ll go home me later today to check things out and decide what to do from there. Living in the third world really sucks - no power, no cable, no internet.

Still cold here. Since snow was predicted for this morning, I did my church run/work last night when it was just cold. We are having a family birthday party tonight so I'll go out then - only need to brush off my car once this way.
