Otherwise, harrumph. Overslept this morning. Normally I’d already be at work. We got snow yesterday, 2-3” of it, so I’m cool with going in a touch late.

An inch of snow, here. My kids are bitterly disappointed that they still have class. Virtual classes suck extra, now! Still a lot of fun, though. I'm norther born and Alaska raised, so from my point of view, finally we get at least a tiny bit of winter.

Where in Alaska, may I ask?

We have had a couple of snows so far. Most only an inch or so but one was 4-5 inches. I always want at least one big snow a winter - 10-12 inches. Don't always get it.

About 4.5 years in Sitka, and 5 years in what is now called Denali National Park (it was called "McKinley Park" back in the day). I moved to the "lower 48" (Seattle) right when I started high school.
