Mom update! She twice tested negative for COVID last week although she still has the MRSA infection, this being the fourth week of antibiotics, and she has two bad heart valves. Today she is leaving the hospital and being transferred to a SNF - skilled nursing facility. So a positive step but she is still a long way from being able go back to her former assisted living facility. So a small “yay” but not a celebration.

Mom was held in the hospital but transferred to a non- Covid room. Dr. didn’t want to discharge her for a couple of reasons.

Good morning. Due to snow storm with high winds, we waited until this morning to leave St. Paul. Jill, the GPS, gave us a bum steer leaving town so we took a round about way. Working on revising Christmas Eve/Day/day after plans.

Happy Christmas Eve! Doing some cleaning and cooking in preparation fro tomorrow. I’m cooking lunch for a couple of grad students with no place to go.
