Thanks, folks! Still waiting to hear from Dad what the results from the apppointment were - it may be that Gma can be right as rain with some good antibiotics, but ya just never know what will start the ball rolling down the slope.

Septum - nose, right? Hope the docs put her back together just as good as new! :wizard:

And hugs to her little girl, who surely is worried about her mommy. :ymhug: :ymhug: :ymhug:

And thanks to your friend, for her service as a LEO. :ymapplause:

A big shout-out/god-bless to the person who invented motorized swings. :happy-bouncyblue:

FutureDA decided she didn't want to nap this afternoon, and the only time she hasn't been whining, fussing, crying, or outright screaching since 2PM today, has been when she chills out in the swing for 30 min. or so.

I think I need to go peruse the Ymm, Beer thread; I don't have any in the house, and am bemoaning that lack right now. Might as well figure out what goodies I should look for.

Ah yes, ours was essential to domestic tranquility back in the day when the young Turks were little hatchlings. We called ours the "Neglect-o-matic".

OzzieDaughter loved hers. That, and going for a ride in the car. Both put her right to sleep! Not so Ruthie... who has a 14 hour "I'm bored out of my mind" scream session coming up next week. Twice.

Exploding cupcakes baked in Greenville!
That will be fun!

Bwahahaha!!! Thanks, Turk - good thing I wasn't drinking anything when I read that, or I'd need a new keyboard. =))

Here's another story about my amazing younger sister and the ministry that she started, Holy Sews. The video is not for the faint of heart. You may want to have some tissues handy.

Georgia the Wonderdog caught and consumed her first robin yesterday. :O3

NOTE: Georgia the Wonderdog threw up her first robin some 15 minutes later.
:ymtongue: :puke:

Question: Do we have to worry about anything?

I don't know if you have anything to worry about but the robin should have shown a bit more concern yesterday.

The Robin can be assured that it has nothing further to be concerned about. :D

The Robin had obviously forgotten the first rule of self-defense. How to not be seen. :-

Just got back from our big family vacation for the summer. We spent three days in Rehoboth Beach, DE, followed by a ride on the Cape May-Lewes ferry to two days at Sesame Place and two days at Hershey Park. Lots of driving, but the kids LOVED it. Katie particularly enjoyed the ferry ride. Grandparents had a pretty good time, too. :D

We went to Duke last night to see Max's game at camp. He played well. They play 2 out of 4 quarters. I think the quarters are 10 min. He scored 12 points, 4 assist, 3 steals and I couldn't keep up with the rebounds. There ar 3 kids from Duplin Co. this year. One must be 6'4". He is a very good ball player. I bet he will be noticed. His father is the superintendent of Duplin Co. schools. Justice has a very high gpa. A whole ball team from Brazil is here. I forget to ask Max how old and whats the name of their Duke team. Hope I can find out today when I go over for the early game. I would like to see them play. :duke: :duke:
