Tonight I got to check one off the Life List, (I refuse to call it a Bucket List), I met Franklin Habit, The Panopticon, and he signed my knitting bag. Squee! Tomorrow I'm taking a lace knitting class with him.

Who's The Panopticon? This guy - http://the-panopticon.blogspot.com/ Yeah, it's mostly about knitting but he's hilarious. (The knitters are closing in on 1 million posts, btw.)

I'm certain that we've talked about giving children offbeat names. Today I ran across a woman whose first name is Montana.

It gets better. Her middle name is Nevada.

Only in eastern North Carolina. . .

I did 20 paintings today. At the same time. :D

They are going to be kitchen magnets.

Very nice. My refrigerator is covered with the little magnet thingy's that the Alumni Association sends out. At least the ones that survived my cats chewing on them.

My parents just left this morning. :(( :(( :(( My mom's been a great chef, housecleaner, dishwasher, laundress and babywatcher the past 2 weeks, not to mention just being good company to me. Dad is not so fond of the babies, but did help out in his own ways.

Now, it's just up to the three of us (plus bulldog :O3 ) to get on with normal living, while trying to define normal again. :-ss :YMPRAY:

How long before one gets over the feeling of being a walking zombie? :(

My neighbor, two doors down, names his dogs after states. A St. Benard named Oregon and a German Shepard named Minnesota.

We can't help with a stutter. You need a speech therapist for that. :D

The frequency of zombie days has gone down over the years, but it still happens from time to time. LL is just about 15.

The most frustrating part of the early days with LL was the lack of a user's manual for her. Give me a user's manual, and I can handle things. LL had no user's manual.
