Stevie Nicks solo is not too bad in a few instances. Fleetwood Mac just fucking sucks though. Boring, repetitive, mystifyingly popular music.

Neil Young's voice makes me want to beat my children, but, he does write good songs.

I listen to The Boss daily, but I would not have considered him as having the greatest voice in the world.

All I have to do is say one word to prove that Fleetwood Mac sucks:

Tusk is the only Fleetwood Mac song I like. Makes me want to march with the USC marching band!

TUSK!

If I never see Bruce Springsteen live, I will die happy. I guarantee you, I am going to die happy.

I've seen him live twice, and I am definitely going to die happy.

He can join us brunchgate...but I'm not spending 4 hours of my time to see him "sing".

Now, if only I could get my daughter to mentor his daughter sometime during the next few weeks so I can get him to perform "Devil with the Blue Dress" at her wedding in June...

I'm still hoping for "Devil" during a timeout next season! But at the wedding reception sounds like fun too. It was what OzzieDaughter chose for our father-daughter dance, if you'll remember! :9f:

Which is why I suggested the album that I did. Peter Green makes the difference. There's no Stevie and no Christine one this.
Speaking of Christine, her first band, The Chicken Shack, wasn't too bad.
The stuff with Christine, pre Stevie, is worth a listen. Bare Trees, Mystery to Me, Heroes are Hard to Find These aren't bad at all.

Philadelphia versus Streets of Philadelphia

I like the latter's singer better but like the former song more.

I've found the perfect way.

I (still) have that EP! I put it on right after The Colourfield and right before Alphaville. Sadly, my EP to 'The Pleasure Seekers' by The System has gone missing. Sigh.

I was listening to a song on the radio in the car with Andrew the other day. When it was over, I said, "You know, that band sounds just like Aztec Camera." Then the DJ said, "And that was one from the vault, 'Obvious' by Aztec Camera." Well, even when I don't know them, I know my '80s techno pop bands.

Then we went inside and I made him listen to my Aztec Camera album.

Totally agreed, CB&B. I just don't get Springsteen. Never have, never will.
