Stupid cramp.
Pressure won't do anything, you need to stretch your calf, that will make it feel better. Not completely better, but it will give you some relief.

No...I'm saying when I touch my calf..it hurts. As in that puppy is pulled.

You need to pinch your upper lip and bring it down over your chin. That will get rid of the cramp.

Or pinch your foreskin as hard as you can and pull it over your chin. Then you'll forget all about the cramp.

I didn't hear it from Charlie Sheen, but I'll bet he's tried it.

I've had that happen once or twice. It sucks. I heated it with one of those bean pads you heat in the microwave. I did that a couple times a day for a couple days, and it eventually went away.

I get those every once in a while when I'm sleeping. I'll wake up with it locked, and I'll twitch on the bed like a fish, trying not to wake my wife until it goes away. The worst was the night where I woke up with BOTH calves locked down, and when I went to get up and my hamstrings hit the edge of the bed, they both cramped too. That was some of the worst pain I've ever felt in my life, and I've blown a knee and been hit in the back so bad that I couldn't feel my legs for a few seconds. I fell on the floor and just lay there, praying it would go away so I didn't have to wake the wifey.

Memo to people taking their punk grandkids to court: if he writes on his group counseling self-assessment paper, "I'm so fucking hot," he is NOT referring to the temperature. Quiet enabling your little bastard.

This ain't that time kid!
Whack him! My blessings. This would be the kind to grow up believing he is 'uber alles' for all time. It sounds like he needs to learn he can be taken down a couple of pegs and should practice some sense of humility in life. He sounds like a good candidate for Scared Straight.

He'd probably grow up uneducated, because he already knows everything, and will be a prime target for tarhole recruitment. Here you can really know you've done a great service for your fellow man. ;)

I finally had to break down and go buy a new wireless router today.
Despite my skepticism, setup was a breeze (less than 10 minutes), and my new connection thus far seems to be worlds better than the old one.
I will be taking a hammer to the old router this afternoon.
I even managed to get out of Target with the new wireless router and only the new wireless router.
All in all, a successful day so far (and yes, Tilly, I also changed my underwear).

Posting this because I dearly love my new, fast, stress-free interweb connection, and I 100% know that it won't take two or three tries to get it through.

And now, my Wii is finally reconnected to the interweb, and my Netflix account has now been enabled to stream through it.
This may or may not have been a good idea.
