Good morning. We lost power last night about 1:30 am. I know because Duke Energy called my cell phone at 1:37 to me There was an outage in our area. Fortunately the phone was muted but I heard the vibration on the nightstand. At 2:03 they called
to tell me it would be restored about 6:30. I laid awake until after the power came back on about 2:15 am, we’ll before their prediction. At 6:05 they called with an update, saying our power wouldn’t be restored until noon today, but it’s been on since 2:15. I guess the power fairy has been working overtime! Oh, the last call also told me that the outage was caused by a vehicle hitting their equipment.
