I love my church family. Last weekend I asked for people to help rake leaves at a member's house the next Sunday. I was a bit worriedbas only 3 people said they would come. I shouldn't have worried as 12 of us, ages 4 to 77, showed up. A neighbor and his young son saw us raking and came to join us. 53 bags of leaves and grass clippings later, we were done.

I've asked for prayers for Jack before but am asking for additional prayers. He has entered Hospice care. Extra prayers for his family - especially his wife Janet - as they go through this next part of the journey. To add to the difficulty of the journey, Janet's mom fell and broke her hip yesterday.
