Anyways...I've got an insane amount of paintings that I'm sitting on, and they aren't doing me very much good sitting here in my hallway. I'm a hoarder of my own art..lol.
I got a phone call from the gallery director last night to let me know that I've been accepted. I started uploading images last night. Wooohooo!
Congratulations!!!! :happy-bouncyblue:

I've been looking for new recliner chairs. I found what I wanted at Warsaw Furniture (in Warsaw). They are brown leather with nail head on the arms. They will be delivered today in Kenansville. We will not be able to take them home tomorrow because it's' supposed to rain. :(

Just got an email from the county telling us that our fine email system is working only sporadically, but they think the spam filter is working again. Imagine my surprise when I come back from filling my water glass to an email with the title "Best Buy Viagra Generic Online." :-o

My next email had the title "10-12 free viagra with every order."

It's possible that those e-mails were already downloaded to the mail server before the spam filter was fixed, as such you'll get those e-mails when you connect to the server.
Of course it's also possible that somebody screwed up. Spam is tricky.

Nothing about our email server works properly, as far as I can tell. Between the Best Buy Viagra and the 10-12 free Viagra pills emails, I got two messages from the Virginia State Bar, which had nothing to do with Viagra. #:-s

Our old IT honcho was encouraged to retire after he accidentally triggered his alarm system and then left home, leaving a door ajar. When the police arrived pursuant to the alarm company call, they walked into his :obscene-smokingweed: grow room. (Or maybe it was the drag photos he posted on FB from his Halloween trip to Vegas. He does NOT make a pretty woman.) The new IT guy hasn't been here long enough to do anything about it yet. He did a "what would you change about the county IT system" survey when he got here, and it's my understanding that he got a nearly universal negative response regarding the email system.

Max-EE Smith Middle School, the Wild Cats, played yesterday afternoon. The team they played are not near as good as the team Tuesday. The second and third strings got to play a lot :) Max played about 12 min. He scored 7 points, had 1 3 pointer and scored 2 on one shot, his foot was on the 3 point line. He had several blocks and 2 steals. The Wild Cats won by 32 points. Yay Wild Cats!!!! :happy-bouncyblue:

I have a contract on our house in Kenansville. The appraiser is coming this afternoon. I've got my fingers crossed that the appraisal comes in at lease as much as our agreement.

An update on our email: out of the fifteen emails I had when I got back from court this morning, four were legitimate. Eleven were spam, including the nice lady DENISE from visionsolutions.com who offered me Viagra and Cialis. Who knew they would help my vision? :D

My other personal favorite was "Get your Hydrocodone without a prescription!" Only if I really, really want to have a felony record....

I am glad to read that all the "on-line pharmacy" and "drugs you need" emails I used to get are being forwarded to the proper address/account now. :ymblushing: :)) =))

I don't need emails to buy Hydrocodone. I know most of the people that sell Hydrocodone in the county, both the ones that work in the pharmacies, and the ones that don't. :Police:

Today's email talley (so far) is: 9 legitimate emails, 10 spams. Notwithstanding the things I can enlarge and/or inflate, the drugs I can get without a prescription, and the replica ROLLEX watches I can buy (query: should I replace my Breitling with a ROLLEX?) I have a new favorite. It's for online education and invites you to "lever" your order if you "need a new diploma to prove to your parents that you are not a loser."

"Gee, Mom, a Duke Law degree was the best I could do when I was younger, but now I can get something better than that worthless old J.D. to prove to you I'm not a loser." Then again, Mom did want me to go into medicine and not law....
