Back in the days? I'm always gonna have that hat! (Although I plan on adding to my collection.)

Ahh...here's where that question was! I answered it in the GMT I think, but monotonous story short, my painting joined others in not selling. As in no bids during the auction. That didn't disappoint me one bit, I had good company in my no sale. However, my painting is now hanging on the gallery wall, so it gets a wider audience and if it sells I get more of the dough. :D

Two abstracts that I painted this morning while hanging out downtown with some other artists. Very fun!

The top one looks like a Borg cube chasing a ham sandwich and the Death Star post destruction. B-)

Goodness gracious great balls of fire! Gotta be honest or my usual lavish praise of your work won't have credibility. These just aren't doin' it for me. You are probably selling more of them than anything, though --- so it's probably just me. Good for you that you don't settle for just painting sand dunes and sea oats. I imagine these keep you loose. Maybe in my old age I just need to relax with paintings and these don't let me. Ignore me and keep on keepin' on! You always hit far more home runs than swings and misses like I do! :-BD
Love, Ima

HAHA..yes I do actually sell these which is why I'm cranking some out now. One of my galleries took 12 of them so that depleted my stock, and I have an art festival this weekend. Nobody shows up at those things and walks away with a $500 painting, but they will hand out $50 for a small one like these. Just like my watercolor abstracts, they are a fun way to free up my brain a bit. And I'm sure it's not just you, different strokes for different folks...which is also a good reason to keep my portfolio with a healthy mix.
