I just had a conversation with my 5 year old son that I didn't think I'd have for another 10 years at least. He comes running into the kitchen, out of breath, and says:

"Dad, hurry up! I need you to help me suck up the booze!"
"What?"
"I need help sucking up the booze!"
"What booze?" At this point, I'm thinking he knocked over one of our bottles of Jim Beam or something.
"The booze. I need to suck up all the booze! You know, the BOOS? The BOOS in Luigi's Mansion?"
I just started crack up laughing. The Boos are ghosts in the Luigi's Mansion gamecube game, and you suck them up in a vacuum cleaner called the Poltergeist 3000.

Hee! I think I need help sucking up the Boos too. And the booze.

Here's what I did today, posted this is response to some typical Terp whining in the comment thread on Singler's trick shot video.
I didn't need Daddy's money to get into Duke. I did that all on my own. I just needed Daddy's money to pay off all those refs. They sure did get expensive. But then I started to feel kinda selfish, so, in 2002 I decided to share the wealth and paid off the refs so that those poor little Maryland fans could feel what it was like to win a championship.

You're welcome.

I have no idea who paid off the refs to get UNC their championships, it wasn't me.
Perhaps I should have shown some restraint.

Ozzie, do you need to establish an attorney-client relationship with CathyCA before tomorrow?

I'm trying to think of something at which you didn't first succeed, Ozzie. . .

I think he's going to try and get a part-time job as a temporary OC for Duke FB and attempt to call a few plays on Saturday...

And if that's not it, I think he has a series of questions he's going to ask Coach K at the Blue Devil Club luncheon tomorrow. I'd wager it's something about stall ball.

No, and no. The next Blue Devil Club lunch is in December, and the speaker is supposed to be Coach K. I told DD what question I'm going to ask him the other night, and it has nothing to do with tomorrow.

I've always wanted to serve popcorn and toast to my guests at Thanksgiving.

I'd be happy with that as long as there is some gravy to pour on top.

Watched a mini marathon of Buck Rogers in the 25th Century off of Netflix while working from my couch today. I watched tons of that show as a kid in the 80s. Between that and Silver Spoons I had such a ridiculous crush on Erin Gray. It's kinda creepy now to think about it, because she's older than my mom, but whatever.
