I keep telling myself it is cold, wet, and nasty outside and I'm fortunate to be indoors. Not sure I can make myself believe it, however. 4/15 is almost here - not sure if that is a good thing or not at this point.

Aunt Ica will be sorely missed. She was a character. Mom thinks she had some dementia, along with her lung cancer. Mom was in the doctor’s office when Aunt Ica came in, sat down and talked to pretty much everyone in the waiting room. She informed them all that she had Uncle Ken’s driver’s license picture (he had passed away about a year earlier) and he was SMOKING HOT. (I told Mom at least she was looking at her own husband and not someone else’s.) I’m sure my poor cousin Tonya had her hands full.

We are headed to the 757 tomorrow for conference. If all goes well, we will detour to Duke Chapel in time for the 1100 service.

Good morning. Yesterday was not good. Our good friend, Jim passed away. This was expected. He had heart problems. We will miss him. I went to Lowe’s yesterday to get plants. When I was leaving I got rear ended. The rear end has damage and the sensor isn’t working. My car has taken a beating the last 6 months. I’ll get it fixed. It’s old but nothing mechanically is wrong with it.
