We went to the fair tonight. I had a deep fried pecan pie. It was pretty good in design, but not the perfect execution. I think it was a frozen piece of pie and even after cooking away in boiling oil, the center of the pie was still a tad cold. But I ate the whole thing anyway.

I thought Duke played VT better, and on the road, than a few teams have. Just don't have the horses, and playing with new, young QBs against Bud Foster's insane defense? Bad combination. VT is a VERY good team. They wouldn't have lost to JMU if it hadn't been a short week and they hadn't been so down trodden after that heart breaking loss to BSU. Having a Hokie wife and watching all their games with her, they are a VERY GOOD team. Yes, they have some flaws, but they've been thumping pretty much everybody in the ACC.

Hey, the fact that we turned the ball over so many times against Miami and still only lost by 15 shows that we're not that bad. And Miami just spanked UNC bad.

ACC football continues to disappoint. I'm not expecting an SEC type league, but we haven't had a credible challenger for a National Title in years.

Duke got their AZZ beat severly yesterday. No Coach Cut show on today. Actually, no need for a show. What can you say??? I am so over seeing old tape, from Yesteryear. Almost 100 years ago. I love Coach Cutcliffe. What can he say new? He was so frustrated yesterday. I so feel for him. He is used to winning, as his Staff is also. Duke Football staff is impecable. And the facilities are being upgraded, every month. It is a long process. But I was expecting at least 3-5 wins this season. Wake and Army were 2 of them.

The Students could care less about Football, at this point of the season. I would sleep in also.

Year after year...........football games... When does the Win column start to pull ahead of the loose column??? I dont want to see film on the Coach Cut show, from the 1920s 1930s 1940s. That era has nothing to do with NOW. The game is different. Recruiting and everything is so different. Tired of seeing the football program getting their azz kicked every week.
