Good morning. It’s 21 degrees at Kerr Lake. We’re going home today. Tomorrow we’re going to Decatur Georgia for a funeral. When I was 11, our family took in two babies, 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 girls. It was to be temporary. Their mom was a nurse working shifts. She had a hard time finding good child care. Tamara and Pam lived with us for 6 wonderful years. Along with their mom, we have stayed close. We found out in January, Tamara had cancer and time was short. Tamara has left us. It hurts. I just couldn’t talk about it before.
