Good morning!

In MLB, when a player "acquires" a number from another player, there is usually some quid pro quo involved. I wonder what Brown had to give Young to get the #8?

Good morning. Back to the salt mines we go.
Re: The Official "Good Morning" Thread
Good morning!
John's blood pressure and oxygen levels are improving, he's doing a good job of getting himself in and out of the chair and not really having any pain - all good signs. However, he went into atrial fibrillation early yesterday morning (I understand this is a common occurrence with heart surgery patients) and we're waiting to see if the meds to correct that have worked. In the meantime, the neighbors are loaning us a recliner so we're setting up for John's return home, and I've just about got more offers of food and help than I can use. What a blessing to have friends and family!

Good morning. Don’t let John come home too soon, Sheree. Insurance companies be damned.

Good morning.
Glad you have a good support system, Sheree. Let them help. It is important that you take care of yourself through all of this.

Re: The Official "Good Morning" Thread
Good morning!
You know that I count you all among the family and friends! Thank you for all the good thoughts and prayers (and advice)!
John moved to a regular room yesterday afternoon. He's getting a little bit stronger every day and sounding/acting more like himself. Getting ready to head over to the hospital to get the overnight update in just a little bit.
GO DUKE!!!

Re: The Official "Good Morning" Thread
Good morning. It is a brisk, sunny day here - supposed to reach 20.
Always good to hear the positive reports, Sheree. Continued prayers and vibes for you, John, and his medical team. Remember to take care of yourself through all this.
Happy Anniversary, VDB and Bud!
BiL Wayne had his appt with the surgeon yesterday. Now they need to weigh all the information and determine the course of action they will take. There will be surgery - just a matter of how extensive. They will either have the surgery here (KU Medical Center) or go back to Mayo. I'm guessing they will stay here - larger support group and they feel very comfortable with the medical folks they have talked with here. Mayo had good things to say about them, as well. Thanks for asking, DPA.

Good morning. I'm still home feeling like twice-baked crud but I did get to see a few snowflakes hours ago! I'm glad to hear things are progressing nicely for John and that BiL Wayne has solid treatment options. Hugs to everyone. LGD! Beat Wake!!!
