The ceilings in my building are 12 feet high, but then I work in a converted warehouse. They turn off the airconditioning on weekends. I used to like to stop by the office on weekends to get stuff done while the hustle and bustle of things wasn't going on. Not when it is 87F inside.

The office was warm and toasty early this morning but began getting chillier as afternoon approached.

The county stopped paying me at 11:15 so I left at lunchtime and didn't return. No word on the afternoon temp.

FYI for tomorrow-fudge brownies and brownie bars.

I just had a very nice telephone visit with Rolvix's lovely grandmother. She's one of my favorite people.

There's a classic hot-rod, cruise-in going on 400 yards down the street from here. :twitch:
About a thousand people wandering around aimlessly, drooling over vehicles they can't buy, listening to music(?) they think they know the lyrics of.

How soon can they leave?
When they do, they leave burn-out style. :twitch: B-)
These guys :Police: turn away without looking.

I went out to pick up a pizza last night and drove by the parking lot where the Bama RV's are parked.

MY GOD! I've seen truckstops with fewer big rigs in them. There must have been 50-75 of them. At 300-400K each, $20 million easy. Hope we send them home with a loss. :D AW.

I can't seem to make any plan to go as scheduled. :Boo:

If I mow any grass today, it'll be around home. I need days with more than 24 hours. :twitch:

Oh, BTW. It appears the Charlotte Panthers are either gonna come from behind or suck like an Oreck. Right now I'm figuring the latter.

I am in grand jury, bored out of my skull. We are wasting the time of every criminal attorney in a three jurisdiction area. CTN is keeping me awake!

Just shoot me. The pointy haired boss is making very large mountains out of itty bitty molehills. So glad the Droid showed up early so I could have something to do.

I burned the living bejeezus out of the back of my hand tonight. I was draining a pot of boil in bag rice and splatter the boiling water on my hand. Whole back of the left hand is bright red. It's like the worst sunburn I've ever had, but just on my hand. Luckily it's just 1st degree, no blistering or anything like that, so it should be fine. But DAYUMN! It hurts!

Well splatter is a bad word. More like splashed.

B has taken it upon himself to repair the freezer tonight. I'm not clear on 1) why it needed repairing at 11pm; and 2) what was wrong in the first place.
