It was slow when I was at work, but since our computer system at work was set up by cretins and Neanderthals who aren't concerned about any programs being compatible with anything else, I just figured it was our system.colchar wrote:Since this thread seems to be on life support, I'll ask this here - is anyone else finding the site slow (almost painfully so) today?

Are there any firebugs out there? Hypothetically speaking, if one were freezing in an igloo, I mean law office, what would be the best things to set on fire? My photos, Duke memorabilia, and stuffed animals (lemur, meerkat, Tigger, two bunnies) are off limits. Anything else is probably fair game.

Goduke.com to stream Coach K press conference today at 4
They don't have a link yet, but an email from goduke.com says they will stream a press conference at 4 today from Cameron on Inside Access. Not sure if it will be free content or not, they didn't specify. If it is pay only then keep an eye on WRAL later tonight, they usually post the press conferences in their archives.

My chair is leather and plastic. Too many fumes. OTOH, the spare chair is WOOD. Lovely, warm wood.CameronBornAndBred wrote:Do you like your chair? We've discovered Netflix streaming. Katie has enjoyed streaming Dora episodes. Today while I'm stuck at home, I've been streaming the episodes of the original BBC incarnation of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Good stuff.

What is your record retention policy? You might be able to kill two birds with one stone - and cook it over the resulting flames.lawgrad91 wrote:My chair is leather and plastic. Too many fumes. Unfortunately, we sent off all the records we don't need anymore in the spring for shredding. I do have a bumper crop of useless interoffice memos, though. Hmmm
