IDK that one either. We only saw their stadium/field when we were in Boise several years ago.lawgrad91 wrote:Does Boise State have blue practice fields?

Kin-tucky bluegrass actually looks a lot more green to me than it does blue.lawgrad91 wrote:Shouldn't Kentucky (aka the Bluegrass State) play its football on blue fields?
Yep. He's internet sales manager at Modern Infiniti in Winston-Salem. He called earlier and said he would be working til 8:30.YmoBeThere wrote:As in the cars?lawgrad91 wrote:Time to PW for a bit. Apparently there is a big market for Infiniti's tonight, so it's just me and the![]()

Their record is quite good, no matter what color field they play on.devildeac wrote:IDK the answer to that one but they must be pretty good at it. Have you seen their W-L records the last several years?lawgrad91 wrote:Or how they get used to green fields after they've been on the blue one.

Well, it's not a requirement.devildeac wrote:Why?lawgrad91 wrote:It's 8:00. Please return to your normal LTE 2.0 behavior.
When we spent the night in Boise several years ago, we made sure we toured the campus, well, the FB field/stadium. We had to ask one of the students if their FB field would be blue at this time of year (we visited in July, IIRC) and he replied to my wife, "Yes, Ma'am, it's blue all year." We figured they just painted it for FB season. What a couple dummies we are.lawgrad91 wrote:Their record is quite good, no matter what color field they play on.devildeac wrote:IDK the answer to that one but they must be pretty good at it. Like one of the posters OY, when I first saw the title of that thread, I thought it was a poll to get rid of the men's a capella singing group.
What a disappointing ending for the Hokies. They played their butts off to come back, and then lost because they, once again, have receivers that can't catch when it really matters. And no, I'm not talking about just the one play at the end. There were SEVERAL drops that would have led to potential scores. Not to mention a HORRIBLE personal foul call on Boise's last drive. Not saying they wouldn't have scored anyway, but as a former player, that call was AWFUL. I'm sorry, but when a guy steps ONE foot barely out of bounds with another player COMPLETELY shielding the defender's, then comes back in and tiptoes down the sidelines with 95K people screaming, he's NOT gonna hear the whistle unless the refs are running toward the play doing their hand waving thing and blowing the heck out of their whistles. The Bronco receiver totally baited him into that hit. That call had me jumping up and down.lawgrad91 wrote:Well, it's not a requirement.devildeac wrote:Why?lawgrad91 wrote:It's 8:00. I rarely pull against ACC teams (except for the holes down the road) but I almost hope the Hokies lose so they'll lose those awful uniforms.
