CTN is NOT a paper. #:-s
And I state, specifically, what a student may use as a reference. :-B
Having said that, if they DON'T cite something that they are directly quoting... oooh, not good. :-ss
I once had a freshman advisee who lost an honor code case because the student didn't cite Wiki.

Good morning!! ~O)

Why is he on hiatus?
I think he's actually trying to get done with some big, super-duper, high-tech, secret project. :D
He could tell us, but then he would have to kill us. I on the other hand went and picked up fenders for my '68 Firebird.

No, but that doesn't make Wiki any less shitty.

Toughest NCAA football game to predict: how about Vanderbilt vs. Northwestern?

We need to start a thread re strange things heard and seen @ Duke sporting events. Cathy and I are being entertained by a lady 2 rows back. "you're a phoenix not a chicken" is the early favorite.

The thread doesn't stop, the person who referenced Hitler or the Nazis just automatically loses the argument by disqualification.
That is the interpretation I have always understood. I just couldn't explain it properly.

Self-imposed. Very, very busy with work.

I had to disapprove a post of Jason's OY. He almost gave the kiss of death to LSU. I disapproved it and asked him to retract it. Unfortunately, he was offline and I didn't have his phone number to call him.

She was hysterical! Lawgrad91 made a list of the funny things this woman said, but "You're a Phoenix, not a chicken" will go down as the theme of tonight's football game.

It wouldn't be the first time someone disapproved him OY. ;)

I also liked the "Turn Catholic! Hail Mary!" when we were up by 14 and had the ball deep in their territory with just a few minutes left.

Was there something that prompted this? Was there a mascot at the game, and the mascot looked like a chicken? I wasn't at the game.

Was it worse than the former "Fighting Christian" mascot:

The Firebird emblem is oft referred to as a FireChikin. It looks like a Firebird to me.

There was a mascot at the game, and it looked like a generic bird to me.

My dad was a minister, and my husband is one. Unfortunately the nickname "Fighting Christians" is no figment of anyone's imagination. But the old mascot was bad.

I don't remember what prompted the chicken analogy at the game.

Note to clients: It is NOT a good idea to cry to your attorney that you are too broke to afford a telephone, but then post pictures from your camera phone on Facebook of your fabulous time from your club level seats at the ECU football game.

Just sayin' . . .
