Hoping there are a few of us! I booked my room for gamenight at a Holiday Inn Express about 20 minutes away. It's one of those I can cancel if I have to without getting charged. Mostly trying to figure out travel plans, whether it's gonna be a there and back and wakeup dead on Saturday trip or take an extra day or two.

I'm sure we won't have a large scale tailgate setup, but I've got two spots reserved in the J Lot across from the stadium. One to park, and one to have a table or two out and at least my small grill for a few hot dogs, as well as a hot cooler loaded with pulled pork bbq for sandwiches. Tim and I will be there, hopefully early afternoon at the latest. I'm also messaging with the Hard Hat Guys and the Omegas to see what their plans are. I know the HHGs have also gotten a spot in the J Lot, as well as the A, and they'll decide which is best perhaps on gameday.

As we get towards game day, I'll post a separate thread for this.

Ole Miss opens as a 14 points favorite with the over/under at 53.5 points so a predicted score in the 34-20 neighborhood.

If I were a better, I'd jump all over that. I'm sure by gameday it will be down below 10 after we learn how many Misses will be sitting on the sidelines protecting their fragile bodies from Duke's defense.

Dart, their QB is opting in, along with NFL CB prospect Amos who is joining 2-3 other seniors mentioned by Kiffin in some of his tweets today.

Bye, Maalik. It's the furthest you've run all season.

Is he concerned that a bad game against Ole Miss will hurt his stock? Running like a chicken should hurt it worse. Buh bye. Bring on the backup QBs and the element of surprise!

As an Arkansas fan, I do NOT like Ole Miss. As in many cases, their bad attitude starts with the coach, Lane Kiffin. I think he would be out of there if someone better came calling.

And then there was one...

Maybe we move Jordan Moore back to QB as Beilin's backup so he can throw to himself. 8-}

Looks like it surprised Manny too — there is a quote in Jim Sumner’s article from Manny saying they would have to get him an Belin ready with Murphy going.

I guess they told him they were looking elsewhere for a QB next year?

Darian Mensah from Tulane stopped by Durham for a visit, apparently. He is supposed to be one of the best QBs in the portal, with three years eligibility, so it sounds like if he comes to Durham he, like Murphy, won’t unpack his bags. :9f:

UPDATE: Per Conor O’Neill on Twitter, Darian Mensah is at the Incarnate Word-Duke game tonight, or at least a guy with a “Darian Mensah” name tag.

(Query: Do we all agree that “DUKE” Is an Incarnate Word?)

Not me. Manny's already bringing in transfers for visits, I'm honestly surprised that Henry didn't announce as well. Duke is telling those guys "You won't be playing next year, either."
