Awakened by the pitter patter of rain on the rooftop.

Think my upstairs neighbor is doing laundry again. At least they waited until 4:30.

Well, it is kinda the middle of the night here.

At least I got the dishes done. They should be dry when it is really time to get up so I can put them away.

Been awake now for 30 minutes. Made the mistake of checking my work email and found the editorial decision on my manuscript: minor revision. Sounds good, right? Sadly, not so much. Their idea of minor is to redo hundreds of hours of work in 10 days. I'm ready to tell them to shove it.
