Umm, technically speaking, one may wear seersucker before Memorial Day... e.g., Derby Day. This is absolutely acceptable. I believe one may wear it on Preakness Day as well.

Having said that, you realize that the wedding was held on Breeder's Cup Saturday? Seersucker is permitted, especially if your name is Wimp Sanderson.
;)

We were not at an equestrian event.

Umm, why do you think I clarified the "before" time by mentioning Easter?

Didn't Norm Sloan wear a seersucker from time to time?

Thanks, Cathy, for the clarification. My memory about fashion sucks. But wasn't SOMEBODY in college coaching known for wearing seersucker? :-\

I only allow the OP ONE suit. It's dark blue. He can wear it anywhere. He can't be trusted with making a choice..... ever, bless his heart.

Mr. Windsor has a similar suit. One.

Pic of the Seersucker suit! Was that purchased at an estate sale or at the thrift store? Bow tie or neck tie? =))
Here is a picture of my dear friends with Knights and I. I'm pretty sure my friend Peter bought his suit at a department store, but I'll be happy to check with him if you like.

They were a delightful couple. I enjoyed visiting with them prior to the wedding, and at the reception.

Perhaps the Duke team were watching the Grammy's in the locker room prior to the BC game. Excessive eye bleach would explain their poor shooting....

When you can afford any dress in the world AND you have stylists and publicists working for you why oh why would you wear an ill fitting old bedspread to the Grammys....not just an ill fitting old bedspread, an ill fitting old bedspread with matching SHOES?!?!?!?!?

Someone's curtains have an Adele sized hole in them.

Believe it or not, I have some good things to say about this dress: Adele is not a size 0, or even a size 10, so she did a good thing when she covered her upper arms and chest and didn't show off her girls.

However, she needs to fire her stylist for forgetting the cardinal rule of fashion: solids are slimming.

Also, an empire waistline with a straight skirt would have minimized her hip and tummy area.

Another good thing: Adele has just had a baby. She didn't go on some stupid celebrity diet and workout regimen to starve herself down to a skeleton. She is REAL, and I like that about her.

Hey! I have an idea! Hire ME to be Adele's stylist!

I like the shoes. They would have been more fun with a solid color dress.

I, who generally wear something dark and try hard to blend in with the background (except when they play "Every Time We Touch") , won't touch this thread with a fork!!!

I do not mind the shoes by themselves. With a solid color they could be fun. But to get all matchy matchy with something that godawful. ugh.

I will also add that the dress would be just as ugly in a size 0. It is just bad all over (although to be fair the shape of the dress would be less unflattering on a stick figure size 0 than on a real body like Adele's)

OK, can't keep my mouth shut anymore about the "Westminster Dog Show slash Handlers' Fashion Show". Isn't it about time after all these years that somebody tell those women running that circle at top speed in those tight, shiny satin skirts (with gobs of sparkles)that their behinds and boobs are at least as broad as MINE, bless their hearts? Those outfits are NOT designed for running the hundred. Isn't this the dog's turn to shine?
